Jay Jones MacGill – My Story
Jay is the Director of MSP Sales at Griffin Resources – providing IT hardware purchasing resources for MSPs, VARs and IT Installers. He analyzes costs, negotiates contracts and offers strategic procurement solutions for resellers facing supply chain issues or support deficiencies within traditional distribution channels.
Jay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida. Past experiences include IT & Telecom Wholesale Brokerage, Professional Instruction for Hillsborough County School District and Event Management for Universal Orlando Resorts – including Halloween Horror Nights event and JAWS Ride attraction.
Jay was also a founding member and Case Manager at Exigent Engineering, Scientific Research & Forensics – specializing in car accident forensics, construction defects, biomechanical injury analysis and expert witness testimony for deposition and trial.
When not working, Jay enjoys spending time traveling with his family and taking scenic drone photos/videos of our beautiful Tampa Bay Area and beyond. His drone hobby has evolved into up storm chasing, capturing brilliant long exposure photographs of lightning ripping across the summer night skies.
